This loan is available to Vancity members ages 19 and up with regular income, and current BC residency is required. If you’re not already a Vancity member, becoming one is a quick process—just a $5 deposit for membership shares and you could be approved for the loan within an hour.
The application process is straightforward. You visit a Vancity branch or call their Member Services. New members can join and apply in about an hour, and once eligible, funds are typically provided the same day. As an added safeguard, applicants must show credit worthiness and not have an undischarged bankruptcy.
